Our Client is a leading Company operating in the Integrated Logistic international business. In order to implement their Team on a specific Project for a Client operating in the FMCG sector in Italy, their looking for an:

 Logistic Services Supervisor

The Candidate will report to the Operations Manager and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Recognizes and recommends operational improvements;
  • Identifies coaching and training opportunities for partners, provides performance feedback, and develops process improvements to increase overall production efficiencies. Ensures day-to-day application of policies, procedures and performance standards;
  • Ensures information is analyzed for accuracy and is being communicated, directs solutions and handles escalated issues and cases for timely resolution and customer satisfaction;
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of the systems and processes that support service delivery and order management needs;
  • Assists the operations manager in establishing processes, procedures and policies by continually identifying and implementing process improvements that increase productivity, accuracy and eliminate redundancy;
  • Researches, responds, and ensures timely, courteous and professional follow up to incoming issues emails and customer complaints from the Customer Relations Management system;
  • Resolves escalated service delivery issues and attempts service recovery;
  • Researches customer issues at individual and systemic levels, and provides resolution;
  • Coordinates movement of raw materials from the warehouse to the roastery. Initiates material moves to Work in Process (WIP) locations based on data from transfer reports. Reviews and acts upon messages from the computerized inventory system;
  • Coordinates deliveries between multiple departments and multiple suppliers:
  • Coordinates outgoing shipments for multiple departments.


  • At least 5 years in a similar role, preferably in multinational context and environments;
  • Degree or Master Degree in Management Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics;
  • Strong competences in time management, Logistics (distribution and transportation), inventory management;
  • An experience in the Food and Beverage or Retail business will be considerated a relevant plus;
  • Execellent knowledge of English language is a must.
